Looking at all the damages done by Religious people in the past, I think Atheists are more friendly. Not sure but I haven't seen any atheist forcing others to follow what their beliefs and I haven't heard about anyone getting killed in the name of faith by an atheist :D

Salaamun Aastana Family and Friends,
Actually, I believe that the Atheists and Religionists are equal in terms of amount of damage they do to the global and social fabric. The only difference is that one (the religionist) pays "lip service" in his or her belief in The Creator and Originator of all that is while the other (the atheist) does not pay this lip service and outwardly admits his or her disbelief in the Creator and Originator of all that is. Particularly in the Western nations in which the predominant attitudes and dispositions of both "common man" and "political elite" are shaped and influenced by post "Nicene Creed" Christianity as well as "Darwinian Evolution".
As far as my humble understanding of things take me, I'd say neither one are particularly "friendly" to the society...especially when they are in "positions of authority".
God Bless You,

**(especially when they are in "positions of authority".) by Damon
Dear brother, I completely agree with you on this point.
However, this brings in another concept which is "position of authority".
I think this "position of authority" (in current state of selfishness and total ignorance) is more dangerous than both atheist and religious :)

Before giving comments, we need to know as to who is an atheist and who is a religious person and than
comment on Naeem Sheikh's question, who is more friendly to society "ATHIEST OR RELIGIOUS?
Who is an athiest?
Atheism, in a broad sense, is the rejection of belief in the existence of deities. In a narrower sense, atheism is
specifically the position that there are no deities. Most inclusively, atheism is simply the absence of belief that
any deities exist.
Who is religious?
A person who manifests devotion to a deity.
Now, see what Quran says about deity's. "LA ILAHA" their is no deity. Belief in deity's polarizes the society.
That is done by religious people, not by atheists who are scientific in their approach. So atheists are logically
more friendly towards society.

My thoughts :-O (If i say anything wrong, it is because im tired :-D)
I would say ,most atheists are religious people(yeh yeh kill me later :-D ). I have been fighting with them for one week now(okay okay so its possible my statements are a bit emotional, maybe i dont have the same opinion tomorrow:-D ), and they are fixed in their belief just like any other religious freak. I have been fighting with "atheists" who are defending judaism. eh whats that? They hate christianity and make fun of Jesus, they hate islam and muslims (and tried to convince people with false verse from the Quran claiming they are just like nazism) but they are defending judaism?
Here atheists get more angry than religous people if you mention moral, ethics God etc. Religion is not just belief in stone idols, i would say it is to believe in anything and close your eyes for the truth. And Atheists believe in every lie the West present to them about USA ,Israel 1 and 2 world war, and the muslim world. If we ask questions about 2 world war, your labelled as anti-semite. If you ask questions about young turks who killed Armenians, they ignore it. If you ask why Hitler was jewish and ha jewish people in his army, your labelled as Nazi.
Cant see much difference.Religious people wont let themself think, atheist are doing the same. The "freedom" this society have is not because its made up by friendly Atheists who want to give people their rights, it its because after 2 world war they needed people who can obey them so they an build their interests in our countries, to control the economy etc later.
Steven Weinberg was born in 1933 in New York City to Jewish immigrants Frederick and Eva Weinberg, but is atheist.
His views on religion were expressed in a speech from 1999 in Washington, D.C.:
"With or without religion, good people can behave well and bad people can do evil; but for good people to do evil—that takes religion. "
Now even a blind person can hear and a dumb person can see that Israel is purely a RELIGIOUS state based on religious freaky statements in the Torah talmud bible . so what is his views about Israel?
Weinberg is also known for his support of Israel. He wrote an essay titled "Zionism and Its Cultural Adversaries" to explain his views on the issue.
Weinberg has canceled trips to universities in the United Kingdom because of British boycotts directed towards Israel. He has explained:
"Given the history of the attacks on Israel and the oppressiveness and aggressiveness of other countries in the Middle East and elsewhere, boycotting Israel indicated a moral blindness for which it is hard to find any explanation other than antisemitism.
Atheism is in fact a lie to hide religious boundries to fanatic christians or jews who follow the talmud and other pagan rituals. yes im convinced
Christian atheism is an ideology in which the God of Christianity is rejected but the moral teachings of Jesus are followed. It is a belief that the stories of Jesus were meant to be related to in modern life but not taken literally. This belief is that the god of christianity is nothing but a symbol.
Jewish atheism is practiced by atheists who are ethnically, and to some extent culturally, Jewish. Because Jewishness encompasses ethnic as well as religious components, the term "Jewish atheism" does not necessarily imply any kind of contradiction. Based on Jewish law's emphasis on matrilineal descent, Orthodox Jewish authorities would accept as fully Jewish an atheist born to a Jewish mother
What is that? A muslim atheists would be next :-D
So they are both friendly, in their own way :-P
oh i almost forgot, i missed all of you too, you cant get rid of me :-D :-D

Dear Naeem Sheikh! No one can deny the existence of "the creator of the universe" it doesn’t matter who call him KHUDA / GOD/ RAMA/ NATURE/ ALLAH/BHAGWAN , all the extremists(irrational thinkers) falls in the catagory of religious member of the society whether atheist ,poly theist ,or any sectarian are harmfull to the society.
Actual thing is the follow up of rational / logical based rules and laws to dwell peace fully prosperous life in this universe. That is only possible to take care of each individual’s rights,IN FACT THIS IS THE MESSAGE OF ALKITAB PRESERVED IN LOH-E-MAHFOOZ(ayaat in the universe).
As for as more friendly to the AASTANA’S family is concerns, atheist might be the more friendly than a religious extremist.
