Salaam Moazzam Bhai;

While I am going through the verses you've suggested, I would request you to kindly read this article carefully and try to compare the contents with some of the basic concepts given in the verses quoted above;

People who have never read Quran have been coming up with some ideas which resembles those given in Quran.
What do you think about it?

Comments by: moazzam On 15 July 2011
Dear Brother Junaid! The article “Friendship and the Free Society” seems very much resembling with socio-economic vision based on Quranic studies. The TRUE ISLAMIC SOCIETY (the era where 100% implementation of Quranic values are being practiced )is called AYYAM ALLAH.
70/3-4

TERMINOLOGIES
خَمْسِينَ = To come near to accord harmony
سَنَةٍ = Enlighten/illuminated.

أَلْفَ =Accustomed with, familiarized / comfortable with

يَوْمٍ = عَامًا =Time Period (daor), era

(بِأَيَّامِ اللّهِ) Ayyam allah = the ERA when Islamic state does function in its proper strength. And took over the responsibility of happiness /prosperity of the whole society, See the verse 14/5.70/3-4, 32/5, 22/47.

6:161. Say: "Verily, my Lord hath guided me to a way that is straight,- a religion of right,- the path (trod) by Abraham the true in Faith, and he (certainly) joined not gods with Allah."

SHIRQ = root --> ش ر ک, basic meaning = to become partner<<<< Declared as biggest cruelty, why?

Firs let’s have a gaze at “mushrikeens/ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ” (I know you know about this but thought ill include it for the readers)

If mushrik IS an idol worshipper, one has to define the idol. Is it stone gods or objects or is it idols of ideology/rules/regulations and laws which are positioned equivalent to AlKitab? One can see what it is by studying 7:193-195 which are taken for venerating carved idols in contrast to Gods devotion.

Orthodox translation:
193. and if You call them to guidance, they follow You not. it is the same for You whether You call them or You keep silent.

Sense, signification or meaning (I know some people will object on the word sense) of this verse is that whether you call them or not, it doesn’t matter, they won’t follow you.

Verily, those whom You call upon besides Allah are slaves like you. so call upon them and let them answer You if You are truthful.

Proper translation of the word ABD عباد is “Obedient/ Dutiful person”- this verse clearly point out that those who are calling to the Divine message are worshipped by ignorant human beings, but Allah call these “worshipped people” ABD عباد, they are obedient people of the Divine order, that’s why they are called, but by the passage of time the original teachings they followed and commandments they obeyed were forgotten. Instead were new religions created in the name of these reformers and obedient persons of divine orders

195. have they feet wherewith they walk? or have they hands wherewith they hold? or have they eyes wherewith they see? or have they ears wherewith they hear? Say (O Muhammad): "Call Your (so-called) partners (of Allâh) and Then plot against Me, and give Me no respite!

Here we can see that the Divine challenge given to Momins is that they can ask the idol worshippers to "Call upon these IDOLS and see if these idols can answer” Which indicate that if the worshippers are right, then his worshipped idols must answer to their call. The triumph card is that an idol of stone or wood can’t answer, and as a result of that, of course they are proven wrong (yippiiiiyy)

But what’s the set-up when the idol worshippers asked Momins to call upon their Allah? No1 have ever called Allah and he picked up the I Phone to answer. Not even an answering machine answered…

The fact is that these verses spread throughout the Quran are not for idols, sculptures, symbols, graven images, statues made of stone or wood, it’s not for “dead” bodies, items, objects, pieces whatever, it’s for the personality cults, those who have rituals, regulations laws adulations and worships for personalities. People have been made holy, hallowed and sacred, paradoxically, even when they themselves followed the Divine order, so all the content of religions that is allied and attributed to different personalities or man-made orders, are IDOLS.

Shirk is declared as the biggest cruelty, because? For the reason that the divine orders are impartial, unbiased and balanced equally in favor of everyone- whereas man-made ideas will always be in aid and assistance of one side and thus be unfair to others, That’s why شرک is called عظیم ظلم !

MILLATE IBRAHIM:-

“Ittabi’oo millata Ibrahima hanifan” = “O Prophet, you must follow Abraham’s way
(sequence of deeds, way of conduct act and performances or line of principles and efforts correspondingly etc.)”.

The prophet is advised to pursuit Prophet Abraham, and whatever he did was in line to the branch of learning by Prophet Abraham’s paradigm, who spoke about an establishment of Divine Kingdom. Prophets delegation and taskforce have always been to enforce divine commands, which in turn produce an exemplary community, through which comes into existence a state with peace and security. Same directive is given to Momineens in 14:31.

6:161. Say: "Verily, my Lord hath guided me to a way that is straight,- a religion of right,- the path (trod) by Abraham the true in Faith, and he (certainly) joined not gods with Allah."

Sense of this verse is clear, follow the way of Abraham (which is to establish divine order) and not the opposite, man-made orders (Establishment of man-made one sided destructive orders).

162. Say: "Truly, my prayer and my service of sacrifice, my life and my death, are (all) for Allah, the Cherisher of the Worlds:

This is well-defined too, it means that all my efforts, struggles, determinations energies , my Salaat, everything I do in this world, will be to institute and establish the system of raboobiyat

163. No partner hath He: this am I commanded, and I am the first of those who bow to His will.

There is no other system I will follow than the one of raboobiyat which is just and balanced impartially and already established in the Universe/ Nature, because no other system can be compared to this system, its lashariqalaho. When this system is established one become muslimeen.

164. Say: "Shall I seek for (my) Cherisher other than Allah, when He is the Cherisher of all things (that exist)? Every soul draws the meed of its acts on none but itself: no bearer of burdens can bear of burdens can bear the burden of another. Your goal in the end is towards Allah. He will tell you the truth of the things wherein ye disputed."

Sense of this verse again is related to the just system, where everyone is equal and no one is favored or victimized, so tell those who want you to leave this system that why would I follow another system when this is the Rabb of qulle shain, this is just and equal where no1 is burdened for others and vice versa.

165. It is He Who hath made you (His) agents, inheritors of the earth: He hath raised you in ranks, some above others: that He may try you in the gifts He hath given you: for thy Lord is quick in punishment: yet He is indeed Oft-forgiving, Most Merciful.

from what I can see, this is pointed towards the whole society and the different talents or skills one have achieved.

The “agents” are not khalifas in the sense of kings or rulers over the society, but the humans who learnt and accomplished different expertise. By learning the available skills and knowledge in the nature, humans have different abilities and talents that can benefit for one another.

So the system here is that not everyone can be a doctor or lawyer, we need skillfulness of every kind to fill up the needs in the society. We need doctors, teachers, lawyers, judges, employees in various companies etc. This gigantic and immense field of services and facilities are the core of the society, because it has a purpose which again is beneficial to civilizations and it’s in complete harmony with

’’کَانَ النَّاسُ اُمَّۃً وَاحِدَۃ‘‘

’’تمام انسانیت ایک ہے، تھی اور رہے گی‘‘

How?

Because of this division of skills achieved by different people with different dispositions and comforts, everyone can function for one another and fulfill each other’s necessitates.

Just like the sun, water, earth and wind cooperate to nourish the plants.

This will happen when the system is established , and that time is called (بِأَيَّامِ اللّهِ) Ayyam allah = the ERA when Islamic state does function in its proper strength. And took over the responsibility of happiness /prosperity of the whole society, See the verse 14/5.70/3-4, 32/5, 22/47.

If this is read in combination with Brother Moazzam's above posts, one get the core message.

Dr Uncle and brother Moazzam can give an improved and more comprehensive explanation(correct me aswell).

I would request you to please see my comments on the following discussion thread;
http://www.aastana.com/blog/aastanablog.asp?SID=41&QID=1400

My comments were;

As a conclusion I would say that there is no room for any sort of discrimination among mankind. Everyone should have free access to natural resources while individuals shall work according to their abilities/potentials/capabilities. Growth and development of ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ is the responsibility of the society on the whole, there is no room for any discrimination and the progress should be judged or ranks should be determined, strictly on the basis of merit.

This means that we both are on same wavelength. (please correct me if I am wrong)

Now I would like to include few more relevant verses in this discussion and would request you or brother Moazzam to explain these verses in a bit detail, so that the readers could understand these concepts more clearly.

(5:48)

Dear Junaid, your not finished yet? arggh, we have not started yet :-D

53:38, it will be understood if we start from 53:30-33

Orthodox translation
30:-That is as far as knowledge will reach them. Verily thy Lord knoweth best those who stray from His Path, and He knoweth best those who receive guidance.

So the one that nourish, or the nourishment (Universe, nature which is the source of everything) knows who follow it's path or not, because the nourishment is given as a results of performances, and these are working as a footmark on the routes. The path itself is attached to the nourishment and it will “gossip” who walked on it and not….

31. Yea, to Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth: so that He rewards those who do evil, according to their deeds, and He rewards those who do good, with what is best.

Samawat (heights achieved by wahy Elahi, the source that give you heights) and arz, the lows of the self-chosen deeds, are designed and given by the nature. So the reward is the outcome of one’s own arrangements.This is all inclusive and it’s not directed to one field of a specialty.

32. Those who avoid great sins and shameful deeds, only (falling into) small faults,- verily thy Lord is ample in forgiveness. He knows you well when He brings you out of the earth, And when ye are hidden in your mothers' wombs. Therefore justify not yourselves: He knows best who it is that guards against evil.

At this part you can see the Fahsha is again mentioned, and we know what that is. Because your deeds reveal your intention and action, it will always be visible because deeds are the fingerprint, footmarks of your intentions, posted on your share of achievments.

From what I see, rest is obvious, that the system of nature is designed in a way that no1 can get anything else than what he works for. To achieve or accomplish a wish or intention, one must be on a certain track. That track is either the one formed according to the nature’s visible well-functioning order, or the one that is manmade.

And these ayats are talking about everything, it’s all-encompassing and related to every choice or selection a human being does.

That’s the system of Nature, equality and liberty. We are just encouraged to adopt that system into our lives so prosperity is successful in societies.

5:48 is clear too, as the designer have designed human being with a similar body and cells etc., but it’s also designed with the freedom of choice to adapt a human life or animalistic life. So when the choices are harming, their deeds cause detriment in the society, it’s instructed to decide between them only through the book, use its guidance and parameters to judge between right and wrong deeds

80:24 can be understood if we go in reverse to the other ayas before, it is talking about what Allah made available for man, the guidance the book, the opportunity to achieve heights and consume the right teaching.

have a look at 21.22

Then He causeth him to die, and putteth him in his grave;

Then, when it is His Will, He will raise him up (again).

The guidance is there to make humans rise up again from their low lives (haha sorry couldnt find another word) which is equalized with death, zombies.

Then 23 said man didn't fulfil the commands and let him now look at his "food", achievements, developments,,in other words, his consumptions, intakes, utilizations, ingestions-

whatever you eat (learn) will become a part of your body, that can be witnessed by everyone.

So now that you know the Quran gives values, your free to design the system of rabboyat within the guidlines described in the Quran :):)

Brother Moazzam may help out further :-O

Dear Junaid! Your query that "(Please pay special attention on these verses from 53:38 to 53:42 and compare them to 6:164) "
As i toled you in my previous post that, a very important matter (one of the core message) has been described in the said verses, the qases of prophet Ibraheem and Moses are the avident.Read the verses 6/153-154,161 and 53/36-37 .
No doubt the socio-economic system design in each ERA on the basis of these eternal values is called the NIZAM E RABOOBIYAT.
SISTER NARGIS IS ALMOST RIGHT IN HER UNDERSTANDINGS.

Comments by: Nargis On 16 July 2011Report Abuse
so the Quran gives eternal values,then intelligent people comprehend these values, acknowledge them, change the course of their intention and state of mind, and then shape and establish a "Deedocracy" ? So we can establish and form systems based on the nizam of raboyat, and when new generations come they may invent new systems, but they have to stay in the limits of the given values in the Quran...? :PIs explain 6:151 about abortion, "dont kill your children" ?

Comments by: moazzam On 17 July 2011 Edit Delete
Sister Nargis ! Consolidate verse 6/151 and verse 17/31

The context of both the verses shows that,THE CHILD LABOUR must be restrected by law /force in the society.
