Dear Sir , Please give in detail , meanings of 22/ 1-2
Add Your Comments  Question by: M ASLAM On 28 February 2012
Comments by: moazzam On 29 February 2012
Brother M Aslam ! Although the orthodox translators dragged the sense of whole quran to establish their religious belief/dogmas, but quran is the guide book for to establish the DEEN E ISLAM [in the societies] in life before death therefore, the results should also be seen in this world. To comprehend the true sense of these two verses you have to read the 22/1-14 and focus at 71-78, [ the start and the end of the same surah].
It is described that, the struggle of Momineen will definitely bring the revolution in the society, and be succeeded in replacing the atrocity/savagery based system with the Islamic welfare state [based on justice].
GO THROUGH THE TERMS USED IN THE VERSES UNDER QUESTION prior to the elaboration, as given below.
زَلْزَلَةَ = traumatized, the distressing in public refer to verses 2/214, 33/11,
السَّاعَةِ = the specific time period [when Islamic state establishes and accountability process starts], refer to verses 54/1,54/46,79/42.
حَمْلٍ = disobey refer to verses 33/72, 24/54.
ذَاتِ حَمْلٍ = the group who contravene the divine system.
Qamar]

TRUE SENSE/ TRANSLATION OF VERSES 22/1-2
O mankind! اتَّقُوا [ Be aware with the consequences of violation] رَبَّكُمْ the systems of your sustainer [the eternal values given in Al-Kitab and in the universe]. Certainly, زَلْزَلَةَ [traumatized] السَّاعَةِ [time period] will be a thing terrible.
Verse (2)
In that period you see it every group who provides[un-quranic] training[feeding knowledge] will be distracted from those they were nursing [providing training], and every transgressor will abort their contravene, and you will see the people [appearing] intoxicated while they are not intoxicated; but the punishment of Allah[through islamic state] is severe.

Dear brother Moazzam,

Moazzam said: السَّاعَةِ = the specific time period [when Islamic state establishes and accountability process starts]
Question: Has this particular 'time period' ever occurred in history or is yet to happen? And I did not get the point '....and accountability process starts' in above sentence.

Kindly elaborate.

Whenever revolution will come,( f ex Gadhaffi was kicked down from his position and many kings oppressors etc who are humiliated and their power is taken away), is inquilab. It happened many times whenever a nation, a dictator or oppressors is kicked down from his position. It is a warning to the oppressors that this can happen. It will always happen when revolution is started by the people.

Brother Sailor! Look around the glob, this type of happening has been and will be continued. We have to widen our vision to understand the divine message plotted in the universe and in Al-Kitab as well, we must be familiar with the Quranic term “MOMIN/ MUSLIM’. A man could follow the divine laws even with out knowing the Al-Kitab [the standard], as we use the measuring/weighing scales to run our business “with out seeing the actual standard preserved in the French museum”.I 100 % agree with Sister Nargis post in this regard.

Brother Moazzam & Sister Nargis,

Thanks for the response.

Sa'a as per above is conceivable.
1) What about Youmul Akhira, Youmul Kiyama, Youmu Deen? Are these same as Sa'a?

2) Is there a 'Day of Judgement' after death? Is it correct that human beings 'from the beginning of human creation' till the 'last the person born' in this world will be gathered during that day as per Quran? If yes,
a) what is the Quranic term for 'Judgement Day'?
b) all dead people are waiting for that day? (basically, I cant imagine Adam, Noah, Ibrahim etc., are still waiting).

Thanks and Salaam

Dear Sailor! Yes the intensive individual accountability in life after death is evident from Quran.
But The terms YOUM AL-AKHIRAH, YOUM ADDEEN,YOUM AL-QIYAMA, YOUM ASSAA have to be understood in the light of Quran (as Quran explains it self).
‎-youm-ud-deen 2-youm-ul-akhira 3-Ajalin musamma

یوم الاخرہ means the day when the struggle of momins will end and they will get the desired result.

یوم الدین ، means when the way of life with Human rights is served for all human beings according to divine orders.
...
اجل مسمی means when the time comes and the final result is achieved.
There are other words like یوم ا لقیا مہ،الساعہ which also mean the same

یوم ا لقیا مہ، means when the laws according to divine orders are implemented.

and الساعہ means the moment when change takes place

these events are about life in this world, as the end results of societies are described

Read the verses 27/7-14 here the story about Moses continuous struggle has been described and THE END RESULT OF HIS STRUGGLE (AKHIRAH) IS BEING DISCRIBED IN VERSE 14.

Read the verse 15-44, here the story of Solomon has been described, and in verse 44 the END RESULT OF HIS STRUGGLE (AKHIRAH) is being described.

Read the verses45-53, here the story of Qaum-e-Samood has been described, and in verses49-53the END RESULT OF HIS STRUGGLE (AKHIRAH) IS BEING DESCRIBED.
Read the verses54-58, here the story of LOOT has been described, in verse 57-58 THE END RESULT OF HIS STRUGGLE (AKHIRAH) is being described.

Remember these all stories (the context) well describe the sense of ALHAMD-O-LILLAH (the aim of Momins life is to do struggle in the cause of Allah as all Ambiya usually do that is to establish the Islamic state) in verse 59.

Now read the verses 60-85 and focus at verses 83-84, the final and last but most decisive verses at this issue are 87-92.You will definitely conclude that the term AKHIRAH has been used for the event going to happen in this world, the benefits /punishments are collectively described(life before death).

Dear Bro Moazzam,

Truly enlightening. Thanks.

In that perspective - Jannah & Jahannam should be 'the state of being' of an individual/society 'in this world'. Am I right?

Meanwhile, can I get some opinions on second part of my above question: i.e.,
---Is it correct that human beings 'from the beginning of human creation' till the 'last the person born' in this world will be gathered (MA'SHARAH) during the Judegment day? Is this concept supported by Quran? If yes,
a) what is the Quranic term for 'Judgement Day'?
b) all dead people are waiting for that day? (basically, I cant imagine Adam, Noah, Ibrahim etc., are still waiting). ---

Dear Sailor! There is no detail in Quran for يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ related to life after death, how/when would it be happened, we don’t know. In fact the said terms(AKHIRAH, YAUM AL-MAHSHAR, YAUM AL-QIYAMAH) have been used for hereafter and herein as well, the context will determine their appropriate sense, whether is for life after death or life before death.
Read verses, here the term Yaom Al-Qiyama is seems for life after death 6/94, 19/93-95
6/94
And behold! ye come to us bare and alone as We created you for the first time: ye have left behind you all (the favours) which We bestowed on you: We see not with you your intercessors whom ye thought to be partners in your affairs: so now all relations between you have been cut off, and your (pet) fancies have left you in the lurch
Not one of the beings in the heavens and the earth but must come to (Allah) Most Gracious as a servant
He does take an account of them (all), and hath numbered them (all) exactly.
And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the era of الْقِيَامَةِ.

Dear Bro Moazzam,

In your reference above 27:7-14, nowhere the word 'Akhirah' is used. The word used is 'Akibah'. Do you mean, those are one and the same?

Thanks.
