Naqatullah was not a she camel, rather the jmaat al-momineen extracted out among the arrogant elite.
(1). نَاقَةُ اللّهِ NAQATULLAH = the group of Momineen [people who has been obedient to the commandments of Allah] extracted from the arrogant elite. To comprehend the sense of NAQATULLAH refer to verse 7/75.
Translation/interpretation of verse 7/75: the leaders of the arrogant party among his people said to those who were reckoned powerless - those among them who became Momin "know you indeed that Salih is a messenger from his rubb?" They said: "We do indeed are peace n security provider[Momin] with the revelation which has been sent through him.
NAQAT = Extracted essence.
NUQITA AL-AZM = I extracted out the marrow of the bone.
(2). تَأْكُلْ TA’QUL= It is an imperfect verb (فعل مضارع). The verb is third person feminine singular and is in the jussive mood (مجزوم). The verb's trilateral root is hamza kāf lām (أ ك ل). Although it means eating but the context determine the true sense of the word here it means "to make understand" refer to 2/187وَكُلُوا وَاشْرَبُوا حَتَّىٰ يَتَبَيَّنَ لَكُمُ الْخَيْطُ الْأَبْيَضُ مِنَ الْخَيْطِ الْأَسْوَدِ مِنَ الْفَجْرِ
Understand (the commandments of Allah) and implement (them) till the wrong کالے قوانین (الْخَيْطِ الْأَسْوَدِ ) may distinguished by the clear signs of Al-fajr/quran ( الْخَيْطُ الْأَبْيَضُ).
Refer to 37/91 فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰ آلِهَتِهِمْ فَقَالَ أَلَا
تَأْكُلُونَ Then did he turn to their ILAH and said, "will you not understand (of the message offerings before you)?
(3) عَقَرُ = to restrain/confined under duress so that some one become unable to proceed/fight /produce further, therefore the woman called “عَاقِرٌ “ who is unable to give birth.
(4) أَرْضِ اللّهِ = the general public [the downtrodden rational in approach] .
And to the Thamud [We sent] their brother salih. He said, "O my people; اعْبُدُواْ اللّهَ you have no إِلَـهٍ other than اللّهَ. There has come to you clear evidence from your رَّبِّ. This is the نَاقَةُ اللّهِ as a sign for you. So let the نَاقَةُ اللّهِ to make the general public [the downtrodden rational in approach] understand and do not touch the نَاقَةُ اللّهِ with harm, lest there seize you a painful punishment.
