My Dear Doctor Qamer-uz-zaman sahib , there is no example in history regarding revival of Religion after its decline . How you think that revival of Islam could be possible by your efforts?Even Mullah is waiting for dooms day.

I think the question of revival is not relevant because the old principals or laws or rules regulations are always subjected to a process of renovation, modernization and adjustment to new environments. All ideologies, which are not adjusted to new environments become extinct with the passage of time. The same happened wit Islam. So I think instead of revival, the world may experience some newer ideologies in the time to come. I am sorry to remark that the efforts made by people like Dr Qamar-z-Zaman are futile.

My Dear bqayyum, let us see see what Doctor sahib has to say about it.

Comments by: moazzam On 21 August 2010
Dear Pervez / bqayyum,if we cosider the ISLAM as a religion ,then the Quran seems confiend by man made principles, laws, regulations(called hadith, fiqh)then your question is valid along with the statment of brother Bqayyum. In fact we should know the DEEN E ISLAM given in Quran which is byond time and space(as the Quran explain itself),and Dr. Qamar's efferts are one of these..The Quranist can see the successful practice of islam in many societies in the word except the religious societies including pakistan.

Comments by: bqayyum On 21 August 2010Report Abuse
My dear Moazzam, can you name one of the many societies, which you mentioned in your comments, where there is "successful practice of Islam". Don't name the Scandinavian welfare states. They have never acknowledged Quranic teachings, rather they have shunned Islam. We Muslims have a habit of owning the developments in the Western world to be Quranic or Islamic; whereas they are not and the westerners have achieved those high standards of modernity without following the injunctions of Quran.

Dear bqayyum, you plz just read my last sentence,i am reproducing again "The quranist can see the succesful practice of ISLAM in many societies in the world except the religious societies including pakistan"your gues is right i mean the welfare state in the world including scandinavians. This is also right that they have never aknowlledged the quranic teachings (as had been and presently being presented by so called muslim ulema). As it is obvious that AASTANA teem also not aknolwledge the same,my dear any body/ society ,if he is doing any thing for the betterment of mankind / the universe and strugling for the protection of human rights,HE IS MUSLIM no matter the religion,THIS IS THE MESSAGE OF QURAN.Have any body delivered this message to the aforesaid successful societies??.The Quran given these laws before centuries ago when these above said societies had been in the DARK AGE.Even now if some body dare to conway the quranic message in its true spirit (as Dr. Qamar is trying) i assure you that they will definitly believe and aknowledge the Quran as a divine code of social coduct.Plz read carefully the UN charter then resumble with GLORIOUS QURAN,you will astonish that more than 95% similarities in the both.I don't mean , that, they have extracted their laws, rules, principles from Quran, but they have reached at quran's teachings by their own hard struggles. Conclusion is that ,THEY ARE MUSLIM BY THEIR OWN STRUGGLE AND WE ARE NOT BY LEAVING THE QURAN BEHIND US(HUM KHUWAR HUYE ZAMANEY MAIN TARIQ E QURAN HO KAR)

My Dear Moazzam,
You have made an excellent analysis. May I ask you if they are Muslims by their own struggle, why should they consider message from any book and why we are interested to do so. Rather, why should not we learn from their wonderful struggle which lead them to become Muslims.

Comments by: moazzam On 22 August 2010
Dear Pervez,we are interested to do so, because to make them realized, that, the Quran's CALL is for such an ISLAM,and to make them ditinguished between the real muslim and so called muslims. There is a message for so called muslim societies, that,if they will follow the principles of Quran and legislate your constitution according to the successful societies ,then you can also enjoy the real peace and prosperity in this world(the peradize) JUNNAT NAZEER ZIDAGI.

Dear Pervez Bhai,

In addition to brother Moazzam's answer, I to have a point to make in reply to your question :

""May I ask you if they are Muslims by their own struggle, why should they consider message from any book ""

I think they still are looking for ultimate truth as they have not reached perfection in their system. For example, Kant's dream of an "enlightened age" has yet not fulfilled. Nietzsche's Super man, the Ubermensch has failed to take birth. Corruption is already rampant and out of proportion in some of the western countries. Country-wide crime Mafias are well established. Horrible war machinery and gigantic evil designs against weaker nations are now openly known. (There is a long list of inadequacies of their system)
So, for Peace, Security and Love among humanity, they still need Guidance.

Your 2nd question:
"Why we are interested to do so. Rather, why should not we learn from their wonderful struggle which lead them to become Muslims."

You have a point here. We should not shun from learning. We are already learning from them. Our children are dying to get their education and degrees.
However, an overwhelming majority of Muslims who are the "religionists" have serious reservations against their way of life. I think they are prejudiced to the level of enmity.
A very small minority, people like us, are blasting their brains out to change the old image of "Religion" and to bring our people to the culture and civilization of Values, Principles and Ideals that teach love, tolerance and peace.
You know, Ummat is in a precarious condition. Let us all work for their uplift and progress.

Yes , brother Aurangzeb, you are right. Still their is room for improvement where Quran can help them.
1. Faith in one God, one code of conduct for whole humanity(QURAN) can unite the whole world.
2. Faith in continuity of life ,which makes life of a person meaningful.
3. Thanks for your enlightened comments, brother Aurangzeb and Moazzem.
