Two for consideration in this verse
1) The example of Eesa is like Adam
We have gathered that Adam is not one man, it is reference to a community which is extremely deprived from their rights, their rise is explained in 2:30-40
The religious clergy give us an impression that Adam was a statue made of clay and father of all humans. But they forgot
The Quran undertake a foundation of an extremely righteous society, and not the human birth and its evolutionary steps ۔
Just ponder for a moment, why are we time and again reminded of amaal sahla, good deeds, in the Quran?
WE MUST DECIDE THE PURPOSE OF THE QURAN TO BE REVEALED TO US?
If you think its subject and purpose is to talk about human birth and its existence (evolution and survival of the fittest), then surely we will only find such teaching in the Quran
But IF the Quran is providing a formation to eliminate a Pharaonic society and replace it with a Quraniq society of haq, then
We won’t find the initial stages of the birth of adam and his carnal evolution, rather we will find
DIFFERENT STAGES OF ADMIAT/ HUMAN NATURE, I.E, THE EVOLOUTIONARY STAGES OF ETHICS, CONSCIENCES, and TENENTS
This verse is also talking about Adam who in a Pharaonic society has no foot hold, he is like dust and deprived from every right. In a tyrannical society, ethics have no value. But if we understand the natural laws, moral principle and human rights will reach newer heights-
2) كُن فَيَكُونُ میں فَيَكُونُ / kun fayakun cannot be translated to the past, it is for the present or future
KUN FAYAKUN = BE AND BECOMES? Also used in 2:117
بَدِيعُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ وَإِذَا قَضَىٰ أَمْرًا فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ
In this verse , the word fayakun is on V – 3rd person masculine singular imperfect verb , called فعل مضارع
In Arabic, the verb form called “imperfect”المضارع basically refers to the present time but it cannot be translated to the past.
the verse is not referring back to the time before the creation and Allah thought he will say be and it became
It is referring to the laws, their function ,When a decision is decreed, a matter is ordered, he say be and the process for it to become, is started
So at this point, the Quran negate the idea of Syedaana Eesa's birth without a father, or Adam beingcreated from a statue of clay. Because KUN FAYAKUN can only be translated to:- it is started t happen, or it will happen .. This is "AN" ADAM that will always be and happen...whenever societies are deprived from their rights, at one point they will stand up for themselves and see through the lies of clergy and controllers. 3:59
Indeed, the example of Jesus near the laws in nature is like any kind of Adam, Because of his depend manners, he was granted moral principles. For this reason, when he announced ethos for him, they started to happen. | |
