Dear Naeem Sheikh, WaseemAmeer!LAILA TULQADR????????????
We must be comprehended with the Quranic terms MOUT O HAYAT, LAIL O NIHAR in the scenario of mankind's rise and fall(dawn and dusk) 23/80,22/61,3/27,31/29,35/13,36/37,57/6 and this process will be continued till the last day.NUZOOL ALKITAB MEANS THE TRUE UNDERSTANDING/COMPREHENTION/ APPROPRIATE CONCEIVING
Remember, the time period when LAIL DOES turn into NIHAAR is called FAJR ( dear brothers shoulder to Aastana, may Allah bestow his blessings upon the participants to turn AASTANA'S efforts into FAJR).
To understand the LAILA TUL QADR go to the Surah ALDUKHAN verse 44/1-31, the matter will be cleared to you. Read carefully and focus how LAILA TUL QADR happened in this period( see the nuzool e malaika and rooh(message of Alkitab)
Read the following terminologies prior to comprehend the true sense of Surah Alqadr.
LAIL= The dark period, where the human rights violation usually are at its climax (the people have been in the clutch of trica Firaon,Haman, Qaroon) 74/33,84/17,89/2, 91/4,92/1, 93/2.

How laila tulqadr turns into Fajr = the culmination period when the efforts of Momineen/rasool comes to fruitful and Haqq discriminates from Batill 74/33, 44/3, 97/1-3.

FAJAR= The discrimination of Haqq from Batill 17/78,24/44,89/1, 97/5, 37/54
ALFA SHAHR= the known gracious/ pleasant and friendly.

Salaam.

Please also help me :)

It had been brought/revealed/descended to your senses when the age of darkness had achieved disproportional absence of light.
And how do you conceptualize, what disproportional absence of light is?
Disproportional absenteeism of this light has its own weakness, from here onwards it would just be the period of its elimination.
When masses will acquaint themselves of control/self control, and will follow value of life. This will happen by the order of the RAB until fully all will fall into place as the RAB intended by his grand plan.
State of equilibrium/balance/justice would be achieved and disproportional darkness would be fixed.

Interesting and thought provoking.
Specially the following line;

When masses will acquaint themselves of control/self control, and will follow value of life.

Dear friend, this line is the translation of تَنَزَّلُ ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ وَٱلرُّوحُ if I am not wrong. It means that the term تَنَزَّلُ has been translated as "acquaint themselves" ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ reflects the concept of "masses" and ٱلرُّوحُ is control / self control.

Point to ponder;
ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ as "masses" compared with ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ as "powerful, wealthy, influential people of the society".

Looking at the basic concept if Quran, which revolves around Justice, equality and invariable access to natural resources, I think there is no room for accumulation of power, wealth or influence at individual level, therefore no individual can attain a discriminatory status.

How does people become wealthy, rich, powerful and influential?

As per my understanding, the only way to attain the above mentioned qualities is through transgression and exploitation. In simple words, I cannot become wealthy, powerful, influential unless I transgress other people's natural rights or unless I exploit others. I can see no individual, throughout the history who became rich, wealthy, powerful without exploitation. Accumulation of wealth and power in a particular hand means that the person himself and/or his ancestors did exploit other people's rights to gain undue advantage in terms of opportunities. I normally use the word "Elite" for such rich, influential and powerful individuals and as a matter of fact, "elites" can never contribute any positiveness in the society.

As a conclusion, I can say that the term "masses" suits more as a translation for ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ as compared to "powerful, rich, influential people" (which itself reflects class discrimination). To support my statement, I would like to mention that when masses join together, they become the most powerful, the most wealthy and the most influential force in the society. A revolutionary change takes place only when the masses wake up. Few people or minority cannot bring around a positive overall change in the society.

Note: I am really grateful to Iqbal kay Shaheen for sharing this translation, coz it provided me a new dimension, a new concept and a new direction. Also I would request Iqbal kay Shaheen to provide some more details regarding how he translated the verse this way and on what basis.

""Dear Sister Nargis Brother Waseem Ameer! Kindly extend your help to make me understand the Sura Alqadr in the light of BROTHER MOAZZAM'S ELABORATION. Thanks"""

This is how I understood it,brother Moazzam please correct me:-

نَّا أَنزَلْنَاهُ فِي لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ

You will indeed comprehend this message at the time period when the struggle /effort of the Rusools and Momins are turned into light from darkness (When the message gets a “visual” establishment, bloodshed and dictatorship is not desired or seen as an essential step)

وَمَا أَدْرَاكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ
لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ

You will recognize the given time period because it will manifest itself as the gracious/ pleasant and friendly phase

إِنَّنَزَّلُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ وَالرُّوحُ فِيهَا بِإِذْنِ رَبِّهِم مِّن كُلِّ أَمْرٍ

The Divine message will be comprehended by the state officials who will fulfill the Divine procedure consequently by implementing the orders of AlKitab

سَلَامٌ هِيَ حَتَّىٰ مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ ﴿

The established peace as a result of the hard work of Rusools and Momins will make it possible for everyone to make a distinction between haqq and batil

Thank you brother Waseem, we will see what brother Moazzam say tomorrow. Its interesting to see how Iqbal ke Shaheen and Junaid are looking at it. If I'm not wrong you are saying that malaika are not the influential people rather they are the force created by masses working as a unit ? and you find "powerful/ influential" to be discrimination and not in harmony of the concept of equality ? Did I get this right? I hope Dr Uncle or Brother Moazzam help us here

Salaam;

Sister Nargis, Actually my point is that individuals can excel in different particular skills but that doesn't give them an overall superiority. Let me quote your own comments you posted on the following thread;
http://www.aastana.com/blog/aastanablog.asp?SID=20&QID=1476
You said;

from what I can see, this is pointed towards the whole society and the different talents or skills one have achieved.
The “agents” are not khalifas in the sense of kings or rulers over the society, but the humans who learnt and accomplished different expertise. By learning the available skills and knowledge in the nature, humans have different abilities and talents that can benefit for one another.

Please note that individuals can benefit from each other but none is superior. The only way they can become an effective force is by acting together as a unit. A concept of "masses" acting in harmony as a single force, towards a single goal.
A teacher can excel and become better than others in his/ her own field, a writer can become better than others in his/her own field, an artist can excel in his own field and could become better than others, an economist could excel, a businessman can become better, a doctor could become better than other doctors etc. but being better in particular field, doesn't mean an overall superiority. They all will have to work together and only then they could achieve the overall task of reforming the socio-economic system.
For example I can say that in a society of 1 million people, we can have 100 individuals who could understand the true message of AL-Kitaab. These people are the "rasools" who can educate thousand more people, then those thousand can educate hundred thousand more and the cycle goes on, until everyone gets educated. Now we have 1 million educated people who know what Al-Kitaab says and who can understand the concepts. This is what we call awareness among masses and once the masses gets aware, they will become a force which will be the strongest force in the world and they could change the society by all means.
Just to mention that this is my own understanding regarding ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ and I got this idea after reading the translation posted by Iqbal Kay Shaheen. I am not sure whether this concept fits in with all the verses containing the term ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ therefore I would request you and brother Moazzam to kindly check and confirm.

I agree with Brother Junaid's understanding of Malaika

Influential,rich, powerfull people have the objectives of suppressing/humiliating weaker segments of society by any means wether conciously or uncouciously.

Comments by: Nargis2 On 20 July 2011Report Abuse
Then the Question is, what are the state officials called in the Quran?

And is there a chance to be suppressing/humiliating weaker segments when they are working for Alkitab (I mean those who honestly understand the message and not fakers) ?

A Momin too have the responsibility to carry out certain tasks to maintain amn, is it creating a society of classes and subclasses?

Comments by: moazzam On 20 July 2011
Dear Participants ! I really very happy to see your in put and feed back.
May Allah turn your efforts into FAJR.

Malaika must be the influenced personalities in the societies.see verse 6/9, 2/31
1) Read the verse 16/2 here it is obvious that, the Rasools are also called Malaika ,as it is elaborated in Sura Dukhan.44/1-31(should be consolidated with Surah Alqadr) here Malaika in the sense of Rasool.
2) Read the verses 3/87,2/161 here the Islamic state, Malaika and masses are separately mentioned.
3) A rasool could be among Malaika(the influenced one) OR among the masses see the verse22/75.
4) the nation is demanding Malik(commander) among the masses, see verse 2/246

Dears Salaam.

Last night happen to ponder upon surah Al-Fajr, and see Moazzam bhai mentioning it this morning, it was just a natural way of looking at things, also before surah Qadar, People of ALLAH's deen are telling kufaars that you call your supporters and we will call our's "Sanaduz Zabbania"96:18 and "Laa tutoo" no compromise with them at all instead Asjudoo so you can come nearer 96:19.
There is a lot of room for improvements /Dr. Qamar/Moazzam bhai can come in, would like to just clear one point "Qadar" could/should actually be taken as "Moral Value" or Just "Values" as before the Message, there existed no values, and humans were living animal ways. QDR is also used as a just right ratio/exact quantity to give balance. If things are out of proportion they should be fixed accordingly.

As for Malikahs in Al-Kitab they are mentioned many places in huge numbers, 1000, 5000 etc.

Learning just like all of you. Do not like writing besides I am not as good as others are, so in order to not face criticism and get hurt i avoid it simply, but i have been reading this blog every day of my life for last three years and I am great full to all Teachers.

ThanX.

Salaam;

I would like to thank my Brothers Moazzam, waseem, Iqbal Kay Shaheen and my sister Nargis for their feedback.
In fact I would request Brother Moazzam to please allow me to debate further on this topic, just to analyze it from different angles in order to comprehend.

Brother Moazzam has pointed out another term ٱلنَّاسِ which reflects a concept of masses and it makes a lot of sense. However, I am still looking at another perspective where societies are divided into multiple segments reflecting multiple diverse mindset. There are those who posses a deep understanding regarding AL-Kitaab, there are those who have sufficient understanding and there are those who have little or no knowledge regarding Al-Kitaab. Likewise we can have people or groups who dare to come forward and take part in the struggle and we can have those who are reluctant to come out of their comfort zones despite being aware of the true spirit of Al-Kitaab. Also we should keep in mind that there are various negative elements too, which are present in the same society. These negative groups include those who under the influence of their greed, selfishness and ego, deny Al-Kitaab completely OR those who distort the Ideology by misinterpreting it and those who corrupt Al-Kitaab by adding man-made concepts to it.
My question is that whether ٱلنَّاسِ means all the above mentioned groups in general OR does ٱلنَّاسِ means specific group in the society?
Is it possible that ٱلْمَلَٰٓئِكَةُ is a specific group which consist of masses who grasped the concept and got equipped with true knowledge?
I think a large group "masses" having the ability to express themselves could convince people more effectively as compared to a small group of few intelligent individuals. In fact "propagation of specific ideology through brainwashing masses" has been the biggest tool of elites wherein they use masses to misguide others and normally people feel it very difficult to go against the tide or to think out of the box.

Brother Moazzam said;

Malaika must be the influenced personalities in the societies.see verse 6/9, 2/31

I can see no point to disagree with this statement though I would like to ask what exactly this term "Influence" means? And what are the factors behind influence of these "influenced personalities?

Is it possible that this "influence" is generated by the force produced due to gathering or joining of a large group of well aware people?
OR
Is it the attraction, the charisma of the personality of a particular individual?
OR
Is it the power and wealth of an individual which has created this influence?

Please allow me to quote Brother Waseem here;

Influential,rich, powerfull people have the objectives of suppressing/humiliating weaker segments of society by any means wether conciously or uncouciously.

I think this it is a fact that no one could become rich and powerful without some kind of exploitation. In general scenarios, Influence comes from wealth and power. Whoever posses these two things, he must have obtained them through exploitation of others, whether he himself or his ancestors did this transgression and exploitation.
As per my understanding, no one can get extra ordinarily rich, wealthy and powerful without transgressing the rights of others and without exploitation. I guess everyone would've heard a famous saying;
"power corrupts while absolute power corrupts absolutely".
As a matter of fact, wealth, power and influence carries the tendency to invoke the dark desires of suppressing and subjugating others due to the presence of greed and selfishness as a part of human instinct. (Please correct me if I am wrong by providing at least one example of such person who became extraordinarily rich and powerful without exploitation of others).

I would also like to quote the comments from sister Nargis and Brother Iqbal kay Shaheen;
(both looks quite valid)

Iqbal kay shaheen: As for Malikahs in Al-Kitab they are mentioned many places in huge numbers, 1000, 5000 etc

Nargis: Then the Question is, what are the state officials called in the Quran?
And is there a chance to be suppressing/humiliating weaker segments when they are working for Alkitab (I mean those who honestly understand the message and not fakers) ?
A Momin too have the responsibility to carry out certain tasks to maintain amn, is it creating a society of classes and subclasses?

Let me share few other segments mentioned in Quran;

Also to mention few terms mentioned as negative;
جَبَّارِينَ ٱلْيَهُودُ ٱلْمُفْسِدِينَ ٱلزَّانِى مُشْرِكٌ ٱلْكَٰفِرُونَ ٱلنَّصَٰرَىٰ etc.

Are these all classes?

The formula is quite simple;
Few people who understands the true spirit of Al-Kitaab, takes on the responsibility to spread the knowledge to others who then join the struggle and finally the awareness gets created among masses. This awareness would automatically bring a positive change in the society. This process does not include involvement of elites who actually cannot allow such awareness to be created, since they know that once masses will become aware of their rights, the power, wealth and influence of those elites will disappear.

Dear brother Junaid, I will add here one more thing

Elites= Al-jibaal 101/5
These Al jibaals are currently very influential. They can change/disturb the whole economic system. We all are effected by them.

Brother Waseem, you have raised a very important point here!

Let's think this way;
If Al-Jibaal = Elites, (the influential and powerful elites), then what kind of influence and power does malaika have?

You also said;

"They can change/disturb the whole economic system. We all are effected by them."
Your words reminded me of a video I watched recently.In fact while listening to this guy George Carlin, I really got confused whether to laugh on the comedy or to cry on painful reality.
Let me share it with you;

Hope you would like it, coz the guy has explained in a very clear and open way, what elites actually do.

I think 22/75 suggest that Allah choses rusool from An naas and Malaika, but they must be Rujulan

Brother Moazzam
Can you tell me Prophet Zakaria had good news of Ghulam from Malaika and he replied to them by calling them RABB? Were Malaika his Rabb
