Dear brother Rehan peace and blessings,

I would like to answer this for you.. Messenger in arabic means "the message" yani the Quran aswell, in many places where we have a command by God to follow God and His messenger, it will also mean God's Providance, the state, and His messenger, the Head of state.. so where it says, follow God and HIs messenger, or give zakaat or to give "maal e ghanimat" to God and HIs messenger it would be to give to the state.. remember neither is God present in embodiment, and neither is the Rasool with you , because this Book encompasses all of time, is for every generation, hence God has told us to follow the state which has set down laws according to His Message, the Quran, in arabic of the Quran you will also find Quran being named as the "rasool" (messege).

The places where God Almighty is addressing the companions you will find, they are told to listen to him, and not to turn away from him as the jews did to moses, or as others killed their messengers.. but as the companions of Isa who supported him, you should also support your Rasool as God and His Angels do..

hope this is suffiecient..

dear Rehan saheb assalam-o-alaikum
There is no doubt that we should follow the messenger .The only thing to differenciate is the Arabian culture and the morals and values of Prophet Mohammad.
We are only supposed to follow the values not the culture.Any person living outside Arab will implement these values according to his time and space.
As far as values are concerned we can have each and every detail in Quran. We need not to go outside Quran.

Dear rehan regards, this is true that rasools are always present in their nation as so many Quranic verses supports this claim, can be indiviual, group or the state. The importent thing is his task ,givevn by Allah as verse 2/129,if any momin performing the given task will fall in this cader. As for as following of rasool is concern,Dr Qamar sahib explaind very well, that every thing is exclusively within the Quraan.

MNK: Dear Moazzam If i follow this Ayat as stated by Muhammad Al-Rasool ALLAH, the saying of Ibraheem(pbuh) in true letter & spirit.

Will you consider me from the cadre of "Rasools"?

Respected Dr. Sb, Don't you think this topic "AtiuAllah wa AtiurRasool" needs a separate article? When we dialogue they insist it is about Rasool Muhammad as Quran is delivered to him. And they say SUNNAT is Muqaddam to Alkitaab. Now this it too much. Question by: shaista From PAKISTAN (LAHORE) On 06/01/2014
