Dear Dr QZ and All, Did we crack the Mystical Code of God as explained by traditional understanding of first letters which appear in Quran to start few chapters( sura) ?? Example what does " alif laam meem" mean?

Dear Mubashir Syed,

Allama Pervaiz and Idara Balaghul Quran, both from Lahore, have tried to decode the cryptology of these Quranic abbreviations.

Allama Pervaiz perhaps maintains that they are the first letters of some of God's attributes, each letter denoting a different attribute.

Idara Balagh-ul-Quran, 110 N, Samanabad, Lahore, gives a more logical key to encoding these letters.
They maintain that these are abbreviations of the titles of My Lord pbuh. Each letter signifying a different title given to him by Allah in Quran. For example "alif" denotes "ameen" and "laam" denotes "leen-al-Qalab" and "meem" some other attribute of the Prophet. They claim that as Allah has started some verses by addressing His messenger with some titles (in codes), so the Zameer (pronoun) of that address inevitably follows in the text of the verse. They prove it by pointing out to the Zameer following these codes of address.

You can write to them for a copy of their respective pamphlet.

God bless you.

Dear aurangzaib bhai,,

I would agree with ullam pervaiz on this topic,, because we mortals are not allowed to differentiate between profets.. as aya 2: 288 "The messenger acknowledges in what was sent down to him from his Lord and those who have acknowledged. All acknowledged God, His angels, His books, and His messengers, "We do not discriminate between any of His messengers;" and they said, "We hear and obey, forgive us O Lord, and to you is our destiny."

even if you perfer to call the Prophet of Allah your " Lord " :) :)

mr. mubashir in alif laam meaam first 2 letters alif and laam in arabic (al) which represents proper-noun (property of a noun) are a word which will be translated in englisth as "the" and "meaam" is a letter "name". alif laam meaam will be translated as "the meaam" this is same like in kids story "the mouse" "the crow" or "a snake". if you understand urdu alif laam meaam in urdu will be "aik meaam" or "yeah meaam" just like the start of a story called "the mouse".... and other aya which are without "alif laam" are simple name. (without al) you need to understand the application of "the" or "al" within arabic gramar. this is just like "kitab" and "alkitab". according to grammar "the meaam" or "al-meaam" will be defined in syaiak-o-sabbak.
this is same 2 story of "the crow" having 2 different kind of syaiak-o-sabbak so there are 2 kind of definition of a crow.
so in alif lam meaam "meaam " is a story of a book, book name "meaam" if some one translate meaa as quran i would say this is wrong translation.
