Q.Dear All, how many unbiased western ( Non Muslim ) researchers have decoded Quran as it has to be? If Any ?
By: Mubashir Syed On: 3/10/2011

1.None to date. There are many who pointed out issues with the rendering of Quran based on the translations in circulation. On the other hand there is not much interest in finding real Quran by westren unless it is for the purpose to poke holes in the meanings. However, there is a lot of new interest in Quran so stay tune for new discoveries.

2.Dear AlAhmer, thanx for the info. Was wondering when they can dig deep into egyptian tota-maina scripts and decode those why can/do they not try to decode Quran ? Umm they needs hint of treasures to work and decode things?

AlAhmer : On the other hand there is not much interest in finding real Quran by westren unless it is for the purpose to poke holes in the meanings.

Mubashir : Atleast Christian machineries who dialog with muslims can do decoding to prove traditional ideology wrong. For the method used by Dr Zakir Naik to prove other religions wrong….cant they(Christians/Atheist) do that by decoding Quran as it has to be which might be much easier to win the dialog? And with the kind of reputation western researchers of all fields have for being passionate not sure why No one took this route.

AlAhmer: " However, there is a lot of new interest in Quran so stay tune for new discoveries. "

Mubashir : Would appreciate if you can elaborate a bit on this please.

Thanks,
Mubashir Syed.

3.Dear Mubashir,

May I mention the name of Dr. Maurice Bucayille (Bible, Quran and Science).
And earlier than that, the author of Heroes and Hero Worship, Thomas Carlyle.
And not to forget the great German philosopher, Goethe who said about Quran "It soon attracts, astounds and in the end enforces our reverence". He has paid much more elaborate tributes to Quranic philosophy.
And among many others, Toynbee, G. Bernard Shaw, Dorsy, Spalding.

Best wishes.
