1.Peace Dawood,

***Dear All: Can someone please define "what is the core message" of the Quran in the light of the Quran? How many components it may have? Which verses can show the various components of this core message? thanks.***

The following is the “core message” of Al-Quran.

6:106 Follow that which is revealed to you from thy Lord — there is no god but He; and turn away from the polytheists/al-mushrikeen.

1. Follow that which is revealed to you from thy Lord =Al-Quran Only and Alone for one’s guidance.

2:185 The month of Ramadan is that in which the Quran was revealed, a guidance to men and clear proofs of the guidance and the Criterion. ..that you should exalt the greatness of Allah for having guided you and that you may give thanks.

2. there is no god but He = to serve for Allah Only and Alone, hence, Pure Monotheism.

18:110 Say: I am only a mortal like you — it is revealed to me that your God is one God. So whoever hopes to meet his Lord, he should do good deeds, and join no one in the service of his Lord.

21:24-5 Or, have they taken gods besides Him? Say: Bring your proof. This is the reminder of those with me and the reminder of those before me. Nay, most of them know not the Truth, so they turn away. And We sent no messenger before thee but We revealed to him that there is no God but Me, so serve Me.

3. and turn away from the polytheists/al-mushrikeen = to not do shirk which is an unforgivable sin at death and is punishable with Hell.

18:110 Say: I am only a mortal like you — it is revealed to me that your God is one God. So whoever hopes to meet his Lord, he should do good deeds, and join no one in the service of his Lord.

9:31 They have taken their doctors of law and their monks for lords besides Allah, and (also) the Messiah son of Marium and they were enjoined that they should serve one God only, there is no god but He; far from His glory be what they set up with Him.

4:48 Surely Allah forgives not that a partner should be set up with Him, and forgives all besides that to whom He pleases. And whoever sets up a partner with Allah, he devises indeed a great sin.

6:106 is the “hub” of Al-Quran. Every other ayat comes to support it and it, likewise, supports every other ayat. This ayat is the essence and the totality of Salaa (allegiance to Allah to obey His Commands) and Zakaa (to purify, that is, ever make better the Salaa). Ayat 6:106 informs us that all the details on salaa are in Al-Quran and none of them are rituals.

For those who really contemplate this ayat, it is a true treasure and jewel of Al-Quran. It is the sirat al-Mustaqeen/The straight path. This ayat is the millet of Ibrahim.

6:161 Say: As for me, my Lord has guided me to the right path — a right deen, the millit of Abraham, the upright one, and he was not of the polytheists/al-mushrikeen.

What message supercedes 6:106? I cannot think of it.

I hope this was of assistance.

you are right for the first time.

Purpose of the Quran

method to fulfil the purpose

3.Sister Nargis/ Brother Dhulqarnain, Universal -L/ All aastana members! **THE CORE MESSAGE OF QURAN**
****THAT IS TO RESCUE THE MANKIND FROM THE CRUAL JAWS OF PLUNDERERS ALSO TO PROVIDE AND PROTECT THE HUMAN RIGHTS****
Mr Dhulqarnain please read the complete message at least from verse 6/106-1/114, the position would be created to you

Now consolidate the following two verses quoted by Sister Nargis.

1) First you have to make room to listen aastana stance, then you have full liberty to disagree or otherwise. Remember, there are two school of thoughts in Muslim Ummah, one is based on worship of Allah major part of their religion posess the LIP SERVICE only the easiest to follow with no out come(with some dogmas and rituals ) and other is totally based on practical deeds and action to follow the rules and system described in quran demonds full life devotion having serious effects in their live. Both of them claims that their deen is derived from Quran, it is up to individual choice what they like.
2) Understand the following quranic terminologies used in the relevant verses. If you feel uncomfortable with these definitions of terminologies, you are welcome to discuss in the light of quran.
رَّبِّكَ= the sustainers “NIZAM E RABOOBOYAT”
Only his commandments has to be followed( only his rules and authority)
The followers of rule and systems other then Allah’s.
System of socio justice
الظُّلُمَاتِ= the darkness, the rule of Un Islamic system.

The “SYSTEM BASED ON ALLAH’S NIZAM E RABOOBIYAT” [ the antonym of Zulmaat]
To rescue mankind
إِلَى صِرَاطِ الْعَزِيزِ الْحَمِيدِ = toward the prais worthy divine powerful system.
بِأَيَّامِ اللّهِ= the prosperous social system as Allah requires.
who enjoins upon them what is right and forbids them what is wrong and makes lawful for them the good things and prohibits for them the evil and relieves them of their burden and the shackles which were upon them

4.Brother Moazzam,

7/157 seems to be the best answer for Nabi

Look at the last two words HUM ul Muflehoon
We need Nabi today, otherwise no one will be among Muflehoon or it would be unjustice to people of today

6.Thank you all for your replies. I was away for a while and could not get back to yu earlier.

1. Please translate for me the word Zulmat and Noor used in Br. Moazzam's posts.

2. What are specific HUman Rights mentioned in the Quran and in which verse(s)?

3. When I read the verses related to Adam and IBlees, I find that Adam was promised HIdaya (Guidance) .. (2:38). This Hidaya is meant to keep the Adam(Humanity) away from tasting the Alshajar (the tree) (2:36). The opening verses of surah 2 indicate that this Alkitab is that Hidaya (guidance). First, can someone please link these verses with the other verses quoted by other brothers? Secondly, shouldn't all the quidance (hidaya) in other words AHKAMAATS (Orders/commandments) be considered as the purpose of the Quran?
