1.Aslamoalikum Sir,
Jab hum kehte hain Quran ke haqiq har dor mein aqal k buniyad par samjhne aur samjhane wale rahe hain aur ye mumkin nahen hai k 1400 sal pehle chonke Science ne itne taraki nahen ke the to unhein us waqat, jo aj Quran se Science sabit ke jarahe hai wo samjhae ja sakti, lehaza Quran ke talemat har dor mein is muashre k bare mein hain na k Science k bare mein to is Phiroun k lash k masle mein bhe rehnumai kar dein.
Agar is se murad wo firon k lash hai jo aj Egypt ke aik Museum mein pari ha to wo aj se kuch arsa pehle he mili hai jab ke ye ayat aj se 1400 sal pehle bata rahe hai, is ko Quran ka mojza to mana ja sakta hai lekin us dor k log akher is bat par kese yaqeen karte honge, pher ayat mein hai k hum ne us ke lash mehfoz kar li hai ibrat ke liye lekin jis dor mein quran nazil horaha tha us dor ke logon ke liye is ko dikha kar ibrat nahen banaya gaya balke ane wale naslon ke liye is ko ibrat bana diya.
Kuch din pehel aik paper mein parha k kuch tehkek karne walee is bat k bhe kail nahen hain k ye wahe firon ke lash hai jo Hazrat Mossa k dor mein tha, behral barahe mehrbani is bare mein zara wazahat kijeye.

2.Bhai Ali Haider,
Here again we have the same problem of simplistic literal meaning. Dr. Sahib has time and again proved that this type of translation has most of the times misguided us from the true essence of Quranic exposition. Quran is the word of the Creator of Universe and thus, stands at the highest pedestal of literary splendor. Its literal meanings often spoil its message.
You will appreciate that this old trend in translation was invented to transform an extremely rational divine guidance into mythology.
Isn't the prevalent meaning showing us an aura of myth?
Let us wait for Dr. Sahib to give us his translation.

3.Brother Aurangzib/ dear Ali haider !Assalam o alaikum.Although Dr. Qamar will enlighten us comprehensively at this tropic but i would like to share my comments with you. As brother aurangzaib said in his comments that, mythological translation has nothing to do with qura'an The BODY of FIRAON has not been the AYAT for magarity of past and present people of this word even in this globle age. Also the disputed so called firaon body could never be accepted as AYATULLAH, as the denial of AYATULLAH is KUFR sea the verse 39/63. So we should try to find out the rational meaning of qura'an with its true sense in the context of the subject/stories. Kindly go through the verse 17/103 here you will find no any discrimination between FIRAON and ALEFIRAON in the style of "gharq".Know come to the verse 10/88 to 10/92,and focus at FA ALYOUMA NUNAJJIKA BEBADANIKA,the word “ BADAN” not only means body but it also means short dress used in war to protect from enemy, therefore the metaphorically we can take the sense of mosa's followers as the tiny force of mosa(pbuh) in confrontation of firaon with his strong force(ale firaon).I think the verse 10/92 is for musa and his companions not for FIRAON. The ayat here means the ocassion of this event ,as the story of YOUSAF(pbuh) is AYAT sea the verse 12/7.moreover the meanings of "nunujjika be badanika"neads linguistic analysis to establish their claim. And still research is under process to know this so called AYATULLAH,Plz read the following article down loaded from interner.
The Mummy of the Pharaoh of Moses
By Zahi Hawass
I recently read on the Internet the story of Ramses II's mummy. We know that during the late 1970s the French president, Giscard d'Estaing, asked President Anwar El-Sadat if the mummy of Ramses II could be sent to Paris for conservation and preservation. Being that this mummy did not require any treatment, the real reason behind their request lay in their search for the Pharaoh of the biblical Exodus whom they believed to be Ramses II, also known as Ramses the Great, third ruler of the New Kingdom's 19th Dynasty. This ulterior motive, however, was never voiced to the authorities.
According to the holy books, the Pharaoh ruling in Moses's time drowned in the Red Sea during an epic chase after the parting of the waters. The French scientists were seeking evidence to prove the occurrence of this miraculous event.
The mummy of Ramses the Great was given a royal welcome at Le Bourget airport. Even the French president attended the glamorous ceremony. The mummy was then transferred to the French archaeological centre for examination.
One of the scientists responsible for the mummy's examination was a very dishonest man. He stole strands of Ramses II's hair and kept them for himself. Later on, his son attempted to sell the strands of hair on the Internet. With the help of our ambassador to France, Nasser Kamel, we were able to put an end to this and return the strands of hair to Cairo.
On the mummy's return to Cairo, reporters interviewed the French scientist about his findings. He stated that, inside the mummy, he had discovered a strange insect. The reporters laughed and called it a French insect. I seriously believe that sending the mummy of Ramses II to France was a big mistake.
Numerous false ideas about the mummy have recently been published. First, it has been said that the hands of the mummy are positioned differently than all other royal mummies, especially the left hand. This is inaccurate. Both Ramses II's arms are laid on his chest, just like all the other royal New Kingdom mummies. It has also been said that when the linen surrounding the mummy was untied the left arm jumped up, leading to the conclusion that the embalmers forced the mummy's arms position. Finally, some have stated that the laboratory results demonstrated the remains of salt inside the body of Ramses II, and that X-rays showed that many of his bones were broken. According to theorists, these results indicate that the Pharaoh drowned in the sea. They claimed that the strange position of his left hand indicated that he was holding the reins of a horse, while swinging a sword in his right. Furthermore, they added that while the Pharaoh was drowning he was attempting to push the water with his left hand, hence the reason for the embalmers having to force the left arm back into the traditional position.
I do not think that any of these ideas is correct. Egyptologists know that salt was used in the mummification process and that a great amount of salt is always found while examining mummies. For example, about 28 large jars full of natron, the type of salt used in mummification, were recently discovered in tomb KV 63 in the Valley of the Kings. Therefore, the fact that salt was found inside the royal mummy of Ramses II does not, by any means, prove that he drowned in the Red Sea. This said, I do not believe that there is any real evidence demonstrating that Pharaoh Ramses II drowned at all.
All these theories posted on the Internet are inaccurate, as the research conducted was not scientific.
It is my opinion that we should conduct further research into the lineage of Ramses II. Now that I have successfully had the mummy believed to be that of Ramses I flown back to Cairo from Atlanta, our scientists can investigate further into the true identity of this mummy. Lastly, with the help of the DNA labs and CT-Scanning machines in Cairo, the Egyptian Mummy Project can begin to determine the true identity of Ramses II's family members. These tests could, perhaps, also help us answer the everlasting question of whether or not Ramses II was truly the Pharaoh of the Exodus. Most importantly, the CT- Scanning machine can take up to 1,700 images which will reveal to be important evidence for our research. It will be the first time that an Egyptian team has attempted this study.

6.Bhai Ali Haider,
Tafseer ka kaam shuru ho chuka hay. Fa Alhamdu Lillahi ala Zaalika. A project, if started, takes its course towards completion. We will, with Almighty's help and blessings, definitely carry it to its logical goal. It is a long long task. And there is a process of check, evaluation, review, going on side by side. So, it is difficult to specify a time for its completion.
Moreover, the team has its personal obligations, responsibilities and ROZI ROTI, etc. to take care of. You must know that we are not "sponsored" or funded by any one, so that we might have been free from all worries and might devote full time and energies on the project.
BUT, as I understand from Aastana team, the TAFSEER may start appearing in parts on these pages soon - I mean those parts which are finalized will continue to be exposed bit by bit. And that must be a good news for you and all.
God bless you.

I don't think it is correct understanding of this verse, And my understanding is that If we see whole tussle between Musa Rasulullah and Firoun at the end Musa Rasulullah and His companions brought down political power of Firoun. In Quran this episode has mentioned in different shades. At the end Musa Rasulullah and His companions over took rein of Misr and they have established Salat, you can see in Sura 44 Dhukhan from verse 23 to 29. So in 10:92 means this episode has saved in Quran for the people who can have definite idea. Later times if people have worked on same principles they can get
same results as Musa Rasulullah and his companions got over Firoun.
Fee Amanillah.

8.Dear Moazzam, Assalam-o-alaikum ,
I am very happy to read your answer with full of information and knowledge .
The basics of understanding of عذاب depends upon understanding that the عذاب
1. Takes place nowhere but here in this world ,
2. If a criminal dies suddenly he is not actually punished but saved from the humiliation .
Now consider فرعون if he died as a king while going after Moses, what punishment was he given in this world ? None.
Sooner or later he was going to die. If he had died a bit earlier, what difference would have occurred to him . Its only when he had been punished in front of his people who had suffered misery by his hands that the disgrace and humiliation to فرعون would have meant something.
What’s the fun in drowning him in waters and saving him from the expected persecution by his own people . Now coming to verse 92 of sura 10 فَالْيَوْمَ نُنَجِّيكَ بِبَدَنِكَ لِتَكُونَ لِمَنْ خَلْفَكَ آيَةً
The compound word ننجیک is constructed by two words ننجی + ک
ننجی is made from root letters ن ج و . The basic meanings are to escape, save ones self , be rescued , cut down a tree, to liberate, bring to a place of safety . The basic meaning is نجات ۔ See verse 12-45, 28-25 ,
The word ننجی has appeared in this sura in verse no 103
ثُمَّ نُنَجِّي رُسُلَنَا وَالَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كَذَلِكَ حَقًّا عَلَيْنَا نُنْجِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
103. Then (in the end) we save Our Messengers and those who believe! Thus it is incumbent upon us to save the believers.
The other word to understand is ببد نک which is again a compound word ب + بدن + ک
ب is حرف meaning with
بدن is noun meaning body
ک is pronoun meaning yours
So the translation of this compound word is with your body .
Now the simple translation of this verse فَالْيَوْمَ نُنَجِّيكَ بِبَدَنِكَ لِتَكُونَ لِمَنْ خَلْفَكَ آيَةً will be
“ We will rescue you with your body so that you will be a sign for those who are following you .”
Had it been “We will save your body “ The Arabic would have been نُنَجِّی بدنک We will save your body .
So فرعون did’t die but was rather saved although humiliated and insulted in front of his nation by bringing him down from his royal majestic highness to ground so that he becomes a symbol of humiliation and insult for all those who follow his path . this is the real death of a criminal from the elite class.
Let me quote verses 91-93 from sura 7
فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ الرَّجْفَةُ فَأَصْبَحُوا فِي دَارِهِمْ جَاثِمِينَ
91. so the earthquake seized them and they Lay (dead), prostrate In their homes.
الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا شُعَيْبًا كَأَنْ لَمْ يَغْنَوْا فِيهَا الَّذِينَ كَذَّبُوا شُعَيْبًا كَانُوا هُمُ الْخَاسِرِينَ
92. those who belied Shu'aib, became as if they had never dwelt there (in their homes). those who belied Shu'aib, they were the losers.
َتَوَلَّى عَنْهُمْ وَقَالَ يَا قَوْمِ لَقَدْ أَبْلَغْتُكُمْ رِسَالاتِ رَبِّي وَنَصَحْتُ لَكُمْ فَكَيْفَ آسَى عَلَى قَوْمٍ كَافِرِينَ
93. Then He (Shu'aib) turned from them and said: "O My people! I have indeed conveyed My Lord's Messages unto You and I have given You good advice. Then How can I sorrow for the disbelieving people's (destruction)."
So you can see yourself the punishment was not by some natural calamity although the word used is الرجفہ (earthquake) because prophet Shoeb turned from them . not only he left them but while leaving them he said to them.
Then He (Shu'aib) turned from them and said: "O My people! I have indeed conveyed My Lord's Messages unto You and I have given You good advice. Then How can I sorrow for the disbelieving people's (destruction)."
If someone dies by a natural death or by unnatural death it is the same for a bad person or a good person. Stoning till death, or drowning ,or death by winds etc, is no punishment .
The actual wrath is the INSULT of an elite to work under his lowest graded servant. e.g. A chief of a ministry is brought to justice and has to serve a sentence in a jail.
