Q.Good News
As convener of Janat e Pakistan, Dr. AsarulIslam has nominated Mr. Aurangzaib Yousafzai as the adhoc President and “Party Leader” in Rawalpindi/Islamabad
What are the Quranic injunctions for a political party ?
By: SS On: 3/23/2011

1.When did this happen? Where is the announcement?
Dear SS, Please remember, a news without any proof means nothing!

"Politics", is a process by which groups of people make collective decisions. The term is generally applied to the art or science of running governmental or state affairs. It also refers to behavior within civil governments. However, politics have been observed in other group interactions, including corporate, academic, and religious institutions. It consists of "social relations involving authority or power" and refers to the regulation of public affairs within a political unit, and to the methods and tactics used to formulate and apply policy.

One can compare this definition with what Quran says;

A concept of mutual consultation for handling affairs

A concept which says no individual has authority on others and no one is responsible for the deeds of other.

Now you can compare these verses with the concept of authority by individuals or the definition of the term "Politics".

5.Dear Junaid,

It is not your mistake. The announcement was written boldly under a beautiful picture of red rose
giving some detail about Aurangzeb Yousafzai but now I myself couldn't see where I saw it than. Probably,
removed due to obvious reasons on somebody's request. Red rose is still there but the announcement is
removed. My comments in which I praised him might have been removed for the same reason. It's OK.

6.Dear Brothers and sisters

On the web site www.quaideazam.com the news about forming the party by Dr. Asarulislam was there and the writeup contained the comments that Mr. Aurangzeb Yousafzai (belonging to Rawalpindi/Islamabad) was nominated Ameer ul Momineen of the party. Today, when I visited the same site the writeup was edited and the nomination portion was deleted. However it still contains comments of few visitors to the site, which gives enough proof that the nomination of Mr. Yousafzai was there on the 23 March 2011. I am just pasting few comments from the site. These comments are still there ...........

Salamun Alaikum, Congratulations Dr. Saheb, our love & support will always with you on your noble mission to make Pakistan a true Janat. It’ll be an up hill battle to liberate people from the shackles of custodians of the Ajami Islam, an ummah who is suffering from this slavery of mind and soul for the past hundreds of years. May Allah be your guide in this noble mission.
with best regards

A pleasent surprise to see this familiar name, Aurangzaib Yousafzai. He is probably the best choice as adhoc president and party leader. I would like to congratulate everyone for launching Jannat e Pakistan on this special day.

My dear Asarulislam sahib, greetings, I have known Mr. Aurangzeb Yousafzai for some time now through personal meetings. He brought me out of darkness in to the light of Quran. Indeed, I find him an erudite & capable man with his internal integrities intact. I also find him a civilized, composed and a presentable personality. There fore, sir, I agree and second your choice of candidate of Aurangzeb Yousafzai sahib, as Adhoc Amirul Momineen and President of our budding party JANAT PAKISTAN. I humbly pray to Allah for success of us all in this humble and noble call under his leadership. Ameen summ ameen

7.Salaam;

Dear brothers Shariq and Momin, I saw a different text under the picture of rose but still I posted a congratulation message for Aurangzaib Yousafzai there :)
(Fortunately my post has not been removed)

Brother Momin, I completely understand what you are saying. I agree with you that the contents must have been changed on somebody's request. I think I know who this "somebody" is but it's better not to say that. One thing is for sure though, that such incidents do create a negative impact right from the beginning. Being an outsider at Jannat e Pakistan, I don't think I have the right to interfere, however I must say that this needs to be stopped somehow and all the current members should try and work together instead of forcing the convener to change the contents.

Dear Shariq, I trust you and I know that the contents of your post are correct. I have got the confirmation from various other people that the message you quoted was there few hours ago :)

8.Dear Brothers/Sisters,

I too was surprised to see the announcement of the formation of a new political party by our “Quranist” brothers so fast. I thought it would take time to discuss and explore all ideas. Also, I have difficulty with the name. It gives the impression that the new party is some how affiliated with Mullahs. In fact, most of us do not believe in Mullahs’ fictitious “Janat”, which is located somewhere in the cosmos, and it belongs to only those who “worship” and “praise” Allah day and night but do nothing for the betterment or progress of the humanity. I would have suggested a simple name that reflects our real aims or goals for Pakistan. One example is Taameer Pakistan. We would be working day and night to rebuild our country and steer it to the path of peace, protection, prosperity, and progress.

The most successful political party in the “Islamic” world today is Turkey’s Justice and Development Party (better known as AK Party). Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Abdullah Gul formed AKP after they left Virtue Party headed by Najam Uddin Erbakan, as its leadership was rigid and would not modify its position to pacify the military leadership. (The same is the case with Jamaat Islami. Its leadership refuses to change.) Previously, Virtue Party had used the names Welfare Party and Felicity Party. Please notice how simple all these names sound. Before forming the new party Erdogan and Abdullah Gul consulted with many prominent but disgruntled members of other political parties. Of course they all broke away from their old parties and joined the new AKP. Hence, we must study and learn from successful parties like AKP.

We plan to go forward, not backward. Hence, we should avoid medieval names or terms. We cannot go back to Khilafat times or bring Hazrat Omar back to guide us. We are living in 21st century and should follow the current trends and norms.

Nevertheless, the party has been formed. We should welcome it and congratulate Brother Aurangzaib for accepting the task of leading the new party. May God Almighty reinforce our Brother with wisdom, vision, and energy (strength) as well as protect him against all enemies!
