1.Dear Bilal Khan,

You must also have heard, and everyone of us is always happy to remember, that we Muslims are allowed to marry GIRLS of Ahle Kitab, i.e., Christians or Jews. So, if we are not allowed to have a friendship, and then we are allowed to have a closest relation with their girls, wouldn't you say that it is an absurdity of the worst kind?

Please note that with an inter-faith marriage, a Christian or a Jew can become your father/mother-in-law, brother/sister-in-law, you become their son-in-law, etc.etc. So how a close friendship be stopped.

I am sure you are reaching a conclusion.

Let me tell you that there are a couple of Ayaat where you were, for a ceretain time, banned to have relations with only A PARTICULAR COMMUNITY OF THE CHRISTIANS AND JEWS IN ARABIA, who were against and in war with the emerging Muslim movement of that time.

But in general, you are allowed not only friendship, but establishment of marital relations and you are advised to always deal with them in beautiful manners.

ISLAM, meaning PEACE, is the common heritage of all faiths. Quran is secular.

God bless you.

2.I fully agree with Bhai Aurangzeb and support .
The verses like 28 & 29 of sura 9 and 57 of sura 5 etc were orders for those people who were against the Islamic Idealogy and state of that time. These verses and alike are misinterpreted for future. Although the reference to context i.e. a few verses before and after clearly tells you what Brother Aurangzeb has said.
Remember No nation can be blamed for the wrong doings they have not done but because their ancestors have done something wrong .

3.Dear Docter Qamer and Aurangzeb,

1. A.A. I agree with your interpretation of the above refered Ayat. For that you had

to go back to that period of time and interpreted as,

" Let me tell you that there are a couple of Ayaat where you were, for a certain time, banned to have relations
with ONLY A PARTICULAR COMMUNITY OF THE CHRISTIANS AND JEWS IN ARABIA, who were against and
in war with the emerging Muslim movement of that time. "

2. Question arises how your claim that the book is beyond time and space be justified? That "PARTICULAR
COMMUNITY" does not exist now. More over you had to see its ," SHANAY NAZOOL TOO" for the sake of
interpretation. Is not it? I understand that you might reply that this will be applicable now in case similar
conditions arise. But how will you prove that it is beyond time and space? Such similar conditions may not arise.

M.N.Khalid: So now Ayaats you mentioned are abrogated?
