1.you need to go through the booklet written by Dr. Qamar Zaman named "Syedna Ibrahim se mansoob jhoot" in order to get clarified because the incident you mentioned it is LINKED with such ayat. (21:59-68).

2.Dear Bilal Khan,

Normally, whenever Allah the Almighty talks about Fire, it is not the fire of either charcoal or burning of wood or other material. He talks about the Fire of Hatred, Enmity, Jealousy and Confrontation. Moreover, it is also the fire of deprivation, remorse and repentance that keeps burning and torturing your conscience.

Please refer to 104/6-7 where He has once for all explained that “Allah’s Fire” is THAT which reaches up to, or burns, your “minds/hearts”. So, it is not the physical fire that may burn your bodies or other physical objects.

Hazrat Abraham had also faced the fire of enmity and hatred. The Almighty saved him from that fire by arranging for him to migrate to other favourable people and territory.
Exactly the same process was repeated in case of our Lord, pbuh. He was also saved from the fire of enmity by emigrating from Mecca to Yathrab.

Please go through the booklet "Haqiqat-e-Mo'jizaat" by Dr. Qamar Zaman, available on this website.

God bless you
